I have been in the car business since I was a young child. I always knew that one day I would own and operate my own dealership. I'm glad to be able to remain so close to my hometown. At Brown Chevrolet Buick we treat our customers and our employess the way they want to be treated like Family. I was born and raised in this area and have lived here almost my entire life. I'm excited to have my wife and daughter join the Brown Chevrolet Buick team.

How time flies! My Dad purchased the Buick Dealership in 1952. After I graduated from K-State in 1960, majoring in accounting, I went into business with him. My brother-in-law came into the business in 1962 after Dad retired. We were partners until April 2000 when Clyde passed away. The dealership was sold in December 2000, to a dealer in Kansas City and I continued working for him. In August 2006, the Brown's purchased the dealership and I have continued to work part-time. The Brown's are running their dealership professionally, and have established a first rate Service and Parts Department by hiring well qualified people. This is especially important in a small community. The Sales staff and Office personnel are friendly and helpful. After selling vehicles for forty years I am now enjoying computer work and visiting with customers.
